In mid 2004 Colin Turner purchased a couple of American cars and that was a huge turning point for the company. His love for British classics was overtaken by the lure of the V8 and although he still has many British classic and vintage cars in his collection, his main love is American vehicles from the 1930’s to the 1970’s. With this new passion the barns soon filled up with lots of new “projects” of the V8 nature. Having spent hundreds of hours dismantling and rebuilding these cars and getting very intimate with their internal workings, word soon got around that there was a “Yank” specialist in the area and work started pouring in. In 2007 a Dyno rolling road was installed to assist in the tuning of vintage and retro cars.

1939 Dodge Sedan
Just picked my 1939 Dodge two door sedan from Colin yesterday. He has done an amazing job getting the car running sweetly and stopping well in preparation for the VHRA hod rod races at Pendine Sands. What he doesn’t know about these old Mopars isn’t worth knowing. Definitely will be going back to get some more work done later in the year!

1959 Apache Fleetside
WOW! These guys are magicians!!! Took my 1959 Apache Fleetside to them with a horrible knocking sound from the engine,… not only was they able to diagnose and identify the problem, but they sourced the parts that were needed, kept me updated with what was going on, went above and beyond to make sure it didn’t leave their shop until it was running exactly how it should, set up the new carb that I’d bought, modified the throttle linkage to make it as smooth as silk , but just went above and beyond my expectations! Guys! You’ve made my year! My truck now runs absolutely amazing! I’m super stoked! My wife is pleased that I’m not miserable anymore! And moping around, really helpful, so friendly, very honest about timescales and really reasonable on the cost!!! You pay exactly the right amount for the work that’s done!
